The front features my absolute favorite spread from the book while the back has great classroom activities, like creating your own "Missing" poster for the Statue of Liberty and coming up with a new place for Lady Liberty to visit. New Blog Post: The George Stanley Idea Generator

For Day 7 of PiBoIdMo, I wrote a guest post on inspiration, inspired by George Stanley, an author I worked with as an editor. George always came up with great ideas for kids books, and in his honor, I came up with "The George Stanley Idea Generator," a shortcut to mashing up topics to find new picture book ideas! Check out the PiBoIdMo blog post here.
