"I owe my gratitude to many people for helping to make my three mystery series popular around the world. Most notably, I am grateful to Jen Arena for her careful editing, helpful suggestions, and diligent support over the years. Without her expert touch and careful eye, my writing journey would have been a lot rockier!" --Ron Roy, author of the A to Z Mysteries, Capital Mysteries, and Calendar Mysteries

"You can't find a better editor than Jen Arena. She edited two of my books that are still going strong: A Picture For Marc and A Spotlight For Harry. With a few thoughtful questions and suggestions she can change a shambles into a manuscript that might actually have a chance of going somewhere. Jen knows the publishing world backward and forward. She's the kind of editor you want in your corner." --Eric Kimmel, Caldecott Honor-winning author of Hershel and the Hannukah Goblins

"Working with Jen taught me so much about writing and storytelling. She's always able to clearly pinpoint what’s working in a story, and what isn’t. When I’m revising, I often ask myself 'What would Jen say about this?' She’s thoughtful, creative, encouraging, and kind--in short, exactly the kind of editor every writer wants." --Kiki Thorpe, New York Times bestselling author of the Never Girls

"Jen Arena is a wonderful editor. She's not only smart and insightful she also encourages you to perform at your best and cheers for you, right on the page, when you do!" --Chris Grabenstein, New York Times bestselling author of Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library

"Working with Jennifer not only made my book better, but made me a better writer. She's that thorough, that invested, and that encouraging." --Cecilia Galante, author of The Patron Saint of Butterflies

"Jen Arena was my Random House editor for years. She has an excellent instinct for chapter books and is perceptive, responsive, and lovely to work with. (Sorry to have ended my sentence with a preposition; clearly I still need Jen!)" --Lynne Jonell, author of Emmy and the Incredible Shrinking Rat

"Jennifer Arena is an amazing editor. She understands exactly what works well in children's books and has the vision and imagination to help guide a writer along the most productive paths for the strongest story possible. Not only does she do a great job editing manuscripts from a grammar and functional perspective, she's invaluable when it comes to brainstorming plot, character, or pacing problems. I couldn't recommend Jennifer Arena more highly. There's no one I would trust more with my manuscript or story." --David A. Kelly, author of the Ballpark Mysteries
